Always sharp

Scrubbing in the timeline with the mouse works fine while the movie duration is small. With movies over 10 minutes, this is useless and edition turns out of be slow and inaccurate.

SimpleMovieX remedies this setback with an adaptable timeline. It zooms in and out to make playhead positioning always fast and sharp.

Even smarter with the Keyframe indicator

Keyframes are special video frames that contain all the data to render individually. In modern video formats, one frame of every 10 to 50 is a keyframe.
Some video formats like MPEG-1, MPEG-2 or AVI require editing to take place exactly on keyframes. Otherwise native saving is not working as expected and artefacts can appear at transition points.

SimpleMovieX takes care of those requirements by rounding the playhead position to the nearest keyframe when it's necessary. You just have to focus on editing, the program does the rest.

In - Out - Playhead

Since version 3.5, SimpleMovieX timeline adopts the popular "in-out-playhead" concept.

The learning curve is shorter for new users while keeping the 2 main advantages: adaptable and keyframe-aware.
