Step 1: Submit a sample and receive a free diagnostic

Upload the movie or a 100mb sample and let us do a diagnostic. Within 24 hours, we will tell you if the repair is possible and whether it's a Local Repair or Remote Repair.

Diagnostic is free and with no commitment from your side.

Step 2: Confirm repair order

The person in charge of the repair sends you the diagnostic by email. It tells you what can be expected in terms of coverage and integrity.

Coverage is the duration of the movie that can be repaired. If your corrupt movie is 10 minutes long and we can repair 9 minutes, then coverage is 90%. Integrity refers to quality of audio/video versus original movie. Most of the time, we can provide 100% integrity, but sometimes audio is lower quality and video has some artifacts.

After you give the green light, we will repair the movie in 48 hours or less. You will receive a "Proof of repair" to check the repair before you pay.

Step 3: Check before you pay

To ensure customer satisfaction, we always allow you to check the quality of the repair before payment.

In case of Local Repair, the "Proof of Repair" is the full-length repaired movie at a lower video and audio quality. Full-quality samples can also be provided upon request.
In case of Remote Repair, the "Proof of Repair" is the repaired movie corresponding to the sample provided for diagnostic, and the repair software in "trial" mode. You can run this software to repair the full-length corrupt movie but in trial mode it adds some random artifacts on video and audio. Upon payment, the software is unlocked and the artifacts disappear.

In both cases, you can thoroughly check the quality of the Repair before paying it.

Step 4: Pay and Enjoy your repaired movie immediately

Upon payment, you receive by email a code that will unlock the repair.

In case of Local Repairs, this code is required to open an encrypted zip file containing the repaired movie. Remote Repairs use custom software that need this code to be activated.

Usual Suspects

Panasonic camera HVX-200, DVCPRO HD and Firestore FS-100 seem to be the perfect ingredients to make a corrupt movie. Fortunately, we know how to repair them. We have also developed experience in repairing ProRes422 movies, JPEG-based formats and most common capture formats.
